I didn't realize that Mexican Oregano was different from Mediterranean (Italian) Oregano. They aren't even from the same species of plants. I have Mexican recipes that use 'oregano' and have used the Mediterranean Oregano because that's all I knew. I just made a recipe using the Mexican Oregano I purchased from Marshall's Creek and think it made the difference in the taste of the finished product. I will definitely be keeping this product in my spice/herb cabinet!
