This is exactly what we were looking for. I can't have a lot of salt but I missed the everything breads I bought from those box stores. The topping was salty, garlicy and had a lot earthy tones from the sesame seed. This version has the garlic/onion and the sesame seed while adding flax seed.
The only problem is flax can be very hard and the caraway can be overpowering. If toasted on a bagel giving it more of rye bread-ness.
It needs the caraway seed dialed back or omitted, more black sesame seed instead of the flax or half the flax seed and maybe a touch of citrus such as orange peel to brighten the flavors.
