I purchased this product to make my own Fennel Tea - which you can make by crushing about 2 tsp. of Fennel Seeds with a mortar and pestle, or use a rolling pin to crush the seeds . Others may differ, but I use water from my Keurig to get the "just before boiling" temperature, and let it steep several minutes for best flavor. A tremendous cost savings over store-bought fennel tea bags.
