When we received our order of chopped onions, there were two portions: the 32 oz plastic container, and a portion in a plastic zipper bag (with a label). I was confused. Did I accidentally order two types of chopped onion?
When I read the packing information, I saw that the portion in the bag is the portion that wouldn't fit into the 32oz. container. As a sticker on one of the packages notes, the product is sold by weight, and weights of onions vary, so this is how they make sure the full portion is sent.
I was impressed! Not only are the onions grand (high quality), but this company has integrity. They give you what you order. These days shrink-flation is running rampant and company after company seems to be competing to hit a lower bar, but not Marshalls Creek Spices. It was a very nice surprise, I have to say.
